LJWB MIDSUMMER FAIR

The sun shone on LJWB’s first Midsummer Fair on Sunday 21 June as over 500 people enjoyed a family day out, raising £3,500 towards the Board’s social care projects.

 A steel band set off a festival atmosphere complete with BBQ, Bar, stalls and Kids Zone.  Visitors also enjoyed a first class fashion show with volunteer models showcasing the clothes available at the Board’s Moortown Corner charity shop, thewellfairshop.

The Fundraising team has already set the date for next year’s fair as Sunday 20 June 2010.
