Coffee & Bagels were a Welfare Success 4 Women 4 Welfare – a new charity committee set up by Wendy Bott & Philippa Lester, Dianne Lyons and Angie Shulman held their first event – a coffee morning at the home of Dianne & John Lyons on Sunday 10 May.Openers were Howard & Jacqui Armstrong, Guests of Honour were Frances & Geoffrey Russell and the child presenter was Jenna Borlant.The event was a great success and raised in excess of £2000.Further events are planned for later in the year starting with a Midsummer Fair on 21 June 2009 at the MAZ Community Centre.
