LJCS is renowned for its high quality in service provision. It is committed to matching these with equally high standards in health and safety provision to protect its service users, staff, contractors and visitors from workplace injuries and ill-health. The Health and Safety Policy sets out the commitment of the Trustees to health and safety. It provides a framework to enable Project Managers to manage safety to create a safe and healthy environment. We also have a dedicated Health and Safety Managment committee which oversees the H&S strategy and advises on policies. We have a Health and Safety Officer who provides assistance to and advises staff on risk management and the application of the policy.
It is understood that health and safety is everyone‘s responsibility and members of staff, contractors and visitors have a legal and moral obligation to assist the trustees to achieve its stated aims.
